Coyoacán plaza institution for contemporary Mexican cooking and killer mezcal. Right on Coyoacán's historic Plaza Centenario, Los Danzantes has been serving contemporary Mexican cooking and house-label mezcal since 1995. The leafy patio overlooks the plaza; the menu ranges from Huitlacoche Fondue and ceviches to slow-braised meats and seasonal plates. The in-house mezcal from Santiago Matatlán is a destination in itself. Los Danzantes is listed in the 2026 Michelin Guide, recognized as a long-running standard-bearer for contemporary Oaxacan-influenced Mexican cooking in Coyoacán, with mezcal produced at the group's own palenque in Santiago Matatlán.
